Applications for the 2026 academic year will open 1 March 2025
How to apply
- 1. You may apply for a maximum of three programmes (order of choice does not matter).
- Do you meet the admission requirements for your degree of choice?
- 2. Apply before the closing date.
- 3. Apply using your names as they appear on your ID book/card or passport (do not use initials or nicknames).
- 4. If you apply for two programmes within one Faculty, you are advised to apply for one programme in a less restricted faculty (e.g. Humanities, Commerce or Science).
- 5. Try to keep your study options open, especially when applying for programmes in faculties such as Health Sciences or Engineering.
- 6. Do not enter the duration of the programme. You are applying to go into 1st year of study.
- In accordance with the POPI Act, applicants are required to complete their own applications and accept the University's legal declaration of indemnity and undertaking. The University will not engage with third-party agents facilitating applications on behalf of applicants.

- 30 June - Faculty of Health Sciences (all programmes); Bachelor of Architectural Studies; Bachelor of Audiology, Bachelor of Speech-Language Pathology; BA Film and TV
- 30 September - All other University programmes
- 30 September - Residence applications
